Customer Service Representative/CSR

Kolb Electric is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our thriving team. Kolb Electric, since 1925, has been serving our customers with excellence. For over 90 years, Kolb Electric has built a reputation for delivering prompt, reliable service at an exceptional value. We have provided award winning electrical design, installation and customer service for 90 years, and we need an experienced Customer Service Representative to help support our fast-paced and quality driven electrical service business.  Our dedicated team serves property management, commercial and residential clients from six (6) Branch Offices located throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

In this exciting and rewarding position, the Customer Service Representative will support our Service Manager as well as our Electricians and must be extremely detail and customer service oriented.

Requirements for Customer Service Representative:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years customer service related experience; property management experience will be helpful
  • Strong experience with all Microsoft Office Suites to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint,
  • Full-time position 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday
  • Personable and customer focused
  • Business casual attire is required
  • Willingness to consistently go above and beyond
  • Drug and background screening required
  • Data entry skills a major plus
  • Service Manager Software experience helpful

Duties and Responsibilities for Customer Service Representatives Include:

  • Daily multi-phone lines and email interaction with customers, vendors, and Kolb Employees
  • Must be polite, courteous, friendly and prepared to assist in providing best in class service
  • Must be able to multi-task, communicate effectively and operate in fast paced environment
  • Should be able to provide support where necessary from a service and administrative perspective
  • Responsible for assisting with the following: Scheduling, Filing, Customer Service, and more
  • Other duties as needed for success that may arise from time to time
